Overview

Northumbria Healthcare Facilities Management (NHFM) provides specialist project management, estates maintenance and a full range of facilities services. NHFML is a wholly owned subsidiary of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful applicant will be an employee of the subsidiary and not the NHS. The terms and conditions are closely aligned to those of the NHS. NHFM covers a large geographical area, delivering safe, high‑quality care in hospital and community settings. The staff bank supports service delivery 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The Domestics role is to support high standards of care to patients. You will need to embrace our trust values, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and have a flexible approach to your work.

Role and Bank Arrangements

There is a need to respond quickly to increases in patient activity, staff holidays or illness. The staff bank provides service support around the clock. Bank workers are expected to work a minimum of 2 shifts per month, with the option to work more. It is a requirement of NHFML that all successful applicants pay for their own DBS certificate if a DBS check is required for the post. The payment method is a salary deduction from your first monthly pay.

We require reliable, enthusiastic and motivated Domestics to join our bank to work within our hospital and community sites. Responsibilities include adhering to approved cleaning methods and maintaining the standard of cleanliness throughout our hospital, corporate and community settings.
