Overview

We are seeking a Bank Care Assistant who will work under the guidance of the Care Home Manager and Senior Care Assistants to carry out all aspects of care for our residents. The successful candidate will participate in the delivery of quality care to residents in line with the Care Home’s standards and will understand the need to promote privacy, dignity and independence while treating all residents with respect. The successful candidate will be able to communicate and interact well with residents and others and demonstrate an empathy and understanding of the needs of older people. We require a good team player who has QCF Level 2 qualification or is willing to undertake training for this qualification.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out all aspects of care for residents under the guidance of the Care Home Manager and Senior Care Assistants.
  • Promote privacy, dignity and independence and treat all residents with respect.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues and others; demonstrate empathy and understanding of the needs of older people.
  • Work as a reliable team member to support quality care delivery in line with Care Home standards.
