CLCH (Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust) is a leading provider of community health in the United Kingdom covering 11 London boroughs and Hertfordshire with over 900 Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) in seven professional groups – Dietitians, Occupational Therapists, Orthoptists, Paramedics, Physiotherapists, Podiatrists and Speech and Language Therapists. AHPs are 30% of the clinical workforce at CLCH, providing assessment and treatment interventions across the lifespan from birth to end of life care. Physiotherapists, along with the multi‑professional team, are responsible for the clinical care pathway of service users by undertaking evidence‑based assessment, intervention, and discharge planning. This includes working with patients who have a range of complex needs to facilitate timely discharge from acute care and avoid admission. The service operates 7 days a week between 8 am and 8 pm.
