A regional mental health service provider in Birmingham is seeking a Project Manager to support the delivery of R&D objectives for research in mental health. The successful candidate will manage various projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion while collaborating closely with a dedicated team. Working predominantly at the Barberry Centre, at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (BSMHFT), the postholder will support the Senior Programme and Operations Manager for R&D to deliver the objectives of the Mental Health Mission’s Midlands Translational Research Centre of Excellence to enhance the offer of research to service users across the region. This will include but is not limited to, the development of a specialist interventions unit/trials facility for clinical research, the establishment of research specific clinics and clinical research pathways and to enhance data access and management for the purposes of research and service improvement. The postholder will be experienced in managing projects within the NHS and will ideally have a passion/interest in either research and or mental health.
