This ongoing locum position offers flexibility in working hours, with both full-time and part-time options available. The role is ideally suited to a skilled and experienced podiatrist seeking to make a meaningful impact in the treatment of complex diabetic foot conditions, while enjoying the benefits of working in a supportive and multidisciplinary team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and manage a complex caseload of high-risk patients with acute and chronic diabetic foot conditions.

Deliver expert podiatry care for patients with musculoskeletal, vascular, and neuropathic lower limb complications.

Provide wound management and post-operative care for patients recovering from amputation or other diabetic foot surgeries.

Collaborate with hospital and community care providers to develop and implement holistic and effective care plans.

Offer clinical leadership in the planning and coordination of individualised treatment interventions.

Maintain accurate records in line with professional and organisational standards.

Proven experience in high-risk foot care and diabetic foot management.

A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as travel between sites may be required.

Strong clinical assessment and wound care skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
