Band 7 Pharmacist – Acute Hospital (Ward-Based)

Location: Lancashire
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:45 AM – 17:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 10 weeks
Pay Rate: £22.76/hour – Standard £36.42/hour – Bank Holidays

Role Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Band 7 Pharmacist to join our team working onsite at a busy acute hospital. This is a full-time, temporary position for a period of 10 weeks, offering an excellent opportunity to work across a variety of specialities including:

  • General Medicine
  • Surgery
  • Orthopaedics

This is a ward-based role requiring strong clinical and communication skills, with responsibilities including:

  • Conducting medicines reconciliation
  • Reviewing patients and making clinical interventions
  • Processing discharges
  • Using electronic prescribing systems
Requirements
  • Must have experience working in an acute hospital environment
  • Proven ability to work in a ward-based clinical setting
  • Strong working knowledge of electronic prescribing systems
  • GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
