Job description

Job Title:MRI Radiographer
Banding: Band 7/8
Location: London, Greater London
Working Hours:Monday to Friday (full-time, 5 days per week), various shift times: Early 08:00 to 16:00, Late 12:00 to 20:00 (scope for long days)
Start Date:ASAP
Rate:£34 – £37 per hour
Duration:Ongoing

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated MRI Radiographer to join our esteemed client in London. This role requires working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where you will be responsible for performing a comprehensive range of MRI scans. Your advanced expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the precision and reliability of imaging results, which are critical for accurate patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting a broad spectrum of MRI scans, maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting MRI equipment, and ensuring strict adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations. You will analyse and interpret complex imaging results with a high degree of accuracy, maintain meticulous records and documentation, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver superior patient care. You will also need to be flexible with shift times pro rota and have the scope to rotate around sister sites.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Recent Siemens scanner experience (essential).
  • ILS certification (desirable).
  • Cardiac MRI experience (desirable).
  • HCPC registration.
  • Relevant qualifications in radiography.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Unwavering attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
