Overview

Band 7 Dietitian within Paediatric Team in Stevenage UK earning £31 hourly full time. Start ASAP for an ongoing locum role. Remote working may be considered but must be disclosed before the interview.

Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist dietetic advice, education, and support to patients and their carers, helping them on their health journeys.
  • Offer expert advice, guidance, and support to other healthcare professionals within the team.
  • Deliver paediatric outpatient clinics in community-based locations, ensuring accessible and high-quality care.
  • Plan, deliver, monitor, and evaluate group-based education sessions in the community for specific patient groups.
  • Manage a caseload of paediatric patients who are fed via home enteral feeding, tailoring care to individual needs.
  • Conduct dietetic clinics at special schools for home enteral feeding patients.
  • Triage and prioritise patient referrals to ensure timely dietetic input in line with department standards.
  • Lead virtual group-based education sessions to reach a wider audience within the community.
  • Provide dietetic input to neonatal units to facilitate discharge planning for patients on home enteral feeding.
Requirements
  • HCPC registered and at least two years of relevant experience.
