Job Title: CT Radiographer

Banding: Band 7

Location: Glasgow, Lanarkshire

Start date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Rate: £34–£35 per hour

Working hours: 3 long days per week, (12-hour shifts)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 7 CT Radiographer to join a dynamic imaging team in Glasgow. This role is ideal for a highly skilled radiographer with a strong background in CT imaging, looking to contribute to a busy and supportive department. The successful candidate will be working with Canon and GE scanners, providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to support patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Performing a wide range of CT examinations with precision and care
• Operating Canon and GE CT scanners
• Managing patient preparation and positioning
• Performing cannulation for contrast studies
• Working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Maintaining accurate records
• Adhering to departmental protocols and radiation safety standards
• Flexibility to work long days, nights, and weekends as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

• HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer
• Proven experience in CT imaging, preferably at Band 7 level
• Competent in intravenous cannulation
• Strong understanding of radiation protection and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team
• Flexible approach to shift patterns, including nights and weekends
