Location: Maidstone
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 Weeks
Hours: Full-time, 22.5hrs – 37.5hrs per week.
Rate: Day: £34 – £39 per hour

About the role:

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join our team at Maidstone. This is a temporary position for 12 weeks, with flexible working hours ranging from 22.5 to 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to oncology patients.

Key Responsibilities:

You will provide expert pharmaceutical care to oncology patients. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment plans. You will ensure accurate dispensing and administration of oncology medications. You will monitor patient responses and manage side effects. You will educate patients and healthcare staff on oncology medications and protocols.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience/Knowledge:
    • Up to date GPhC registration.
    • Master’s degree in pharmacy or equivalent.
    • Experience in oncology pharmacy.
  • Skills/Abilities:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Time management and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
