Job Title: Senior Staff Nurse Haematology

Band: Band 6

Location: Birmingham

Salary: Competitive Shift Enhancements

Hours of work: Permanent full-time position (37.5 hours per week)

Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Staff Nurse to join their expert Cancer Nursing Team in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Band 6 Nurse or a Band 5 Nurse with consolidated haematology cancer nursing experience to take the next step in their career. Haematology experience is essential and you must be a SACT‑approved chemotherapy giver.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work within a highly skilled haematology nursing team providing specialist cancer care
  • Deliver assess and evaluate personalised treatment plans
  • Be an advocate for patients and their families supporting them medically, physically and emotionally throughout their cancer journey
  • Gain greater autonomy; our nurse‑led clinical model means you’ll play a key role in assessment and treatment decisions
Qualifications & Experience Required
  • A current NMC Nurse registration
  • Experience in chemotherapy administration
  • Post registration experience within a haematology setting is essential
