To participate in the Duchess of Devonshire Wing (DDW) bleep holder scheme. To take responsibility for individualized patient care, using the Roper Logan & Tierney model of care and documentation for the department. To promote the partnership between nursing staff, patients and their care. To attend and participate in department meetings. Ensure that all aspects of confidentiality are upheld in relation to patient/employee records in accordance with the Clinic's Data Protection Policy. To assist the Manager in ensuring the department is efficiently and effectively managed at all times. To be responsible for the delivery of the highest standards of care and services. To maintain specialist training and experience in stem cell transplantation as detailed in the FACT-JACIE accreditation standards B3.700 (2008). This includes the appropriate assessment and evaluation of care in keeping with: The philosophy of The Clinic. The NMC Code of Professional Conduct and the Scope of Professional Practice. The Clinic Policies and Protocols. Current JACIE-FACT, BSBMT accreditation standards. Human Tissue Authority. National Patient Safety Agency. Quality Care Commission.
