  • Hours: Full-time (part-time considered)

  • Duration: 2/3 months
  • Rate: £25.00 – £28.00 P/H
Job Description:

We are seeking a Band 6 Locum Dietitian to join our team at James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough. This is a face-to-face position and is not suitable for remote working.

What will you be doing in this Dietetics role?

As a Band 6 Locum Dietitian, your role involves providing expert dietary care in adult services, particularly in gastroenterology and gastro surgery. The successful candidate will manage enteral feeding, including discharges, and will ideally have experience with parenteral feeding, though this is not essential. You will be expected to confidently handle complex patients, participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, and engage in best interest discussions.

Requirements:
  • HCPC registered.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Proven experience in adult gastroenterology/gastro surgery.
  • Experience with enteral feeding and discharges.
  • Ideally, but not necessarily, experience with parenteral feeding.
  • Confidence in managing complex cases and participating in MDT meetings.
