Overview

A Vacancy at Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This post is a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months covering Maternity Leave. Advert Band 6 Children’s Complex Care Nursing Care Co-ordinator.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high quality nursing care according to agreed standards which are set and monitored.
  • Provide training and supervision to other members of the team including health care assistants as well as parents and family members to ensure their competence in meeting the care needs of specific children and young people with highly complex health needs.
  • Be part of a city-wide service that offers personalised specialist nursing support to children and families with a variety of highly complex physical health needs, in children\'s homes, schools and other community locations, operating seven days a week and 24 hours a day.
