Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join a private company based at locations in Enfield (EN3) and Tottenham (N15) for the duration of the academic year 2024/25. The position is set to commence in late September and will extend throughout the academic year. The role is part-time, requiring the therapist to work 3 days per week, with the exact days to be confirmed.

What your responsibilities will be for this Speech and Language Therapy role?

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to students aged 16-21 at a further education college. The role involves a minor component of one-to-one direct therapy work, with the majority of responsibilities focusing on classroom-based observations and assessments. The therapist will collaborate closely with teaching staff to support students in achieving their speech and language therapy (SLT) targets.

While there is potential for hybrid working arrangements, allowing for administrative tasks and report writing to be conducted off-site, the primary duties must be performed on-site at the college locations.

Essential Requirements:

  • Appropriate qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Registration with the relevant professional body
