Band 6/7 Hydration Dietitian Opportunity in Wolverhampton – Up to £31 per hour, Full Time

Are you ready to take on an exciting new challenge? We are on the lookout for an experienced Band 6 or Band 7 Hydration Dietitian to join our project aimed at enhancing hydration among care home residents in Wolverhampton. This full-time locum position will span over 3 months, offering you the chance to make a real difference in reducing falls and urinary tract infections (UTIs) among residents. If you are HCPC registered and enjoy driving for work, this could be the perfect fit for you.

What you will do:

  • Conduct detailed assessments of residents’ hydration needs in care homes throughout Wolverhampton.
  • Develop and implement tailored hydration care plans to improve overall health and prevent complications such as falls and UTIs.
  • Collaborate with care home staff to raise awareness about the importance of hydration and provide training as necessary.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of hydration initiatives and adjust plans according to the feedback and results.
  • Maintain accurate records and report findings to the project management team for ongoing development and improvement of the program.
