A mental health service provider is seeking a skilled Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner in Bath to deliver brief interventions and co-facilitate therapeutic groups for clients with complex emotional needs and CPTSD. Applicants should have experience in providing support to individuals with such needs and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. The position includes contributing to staff training and promoting a diverse workplace.
The Primary Care Complex Emotional Needs Service is a brief psychological service aimed at improving the lives of people who may struggle with emotional and relational difficulties associated with a diagnosis of personality disorder. With additional investment we are extending our support to individuals with Complex PTSD (cPTSD), bridging the gap between primary care and secondary mental health services. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner (MHWP) to join our team to provide brief interventions and co-facilitate therapeutic groups for clients with complex emotional needs and cPTSD.
You will deliver well-being focused brief interventions to individuals with CPTSD and other complex emotional difficulties. In addition to providing time-limited brief interventions, you will co-facilitate psychoeducational groups working alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated, trauma-informed care. You will also be supported to join our training team which has a mandate to provide training to other AWP services on assessing and formulating clients with complex emotional needs.
