A government health service is seeking a Band 5 Civilian Dental Hygienist. In this role, you will provide dental treatment and oral hygiene education while supporting operational readiness. The ideal candidate will have a GDC-approved qualification and relevant experience. The position offers flexibility in working hours and a salary range between £29,970 to £36,483 annually, pro-rata.
Band 5 Civilian Dental Hygienist – Defence Primary Healthcare

Roles offer 37.5 hours per week with the possibility to consider flexible working requests, subject to business needs and annual review. Salary is pro-rata for part-time hours. Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) provides a clinical service in accordance with NHS Standards and MoD policies. You will primarily provide dental treatment, oral hygiene instruction and education, administration, supporting force generation and operational capability, and minimising dental morbidity on operations. You may also provide clinical and administrative support for dental care at other DPHC sites or health fairs if requested.
