An independent multi-disciplinary practice is seeking a Band 5-6 Speech and Language Therapist to join their team in Central London. This full-time, on-site role involves delivering training, conducting assessments, and implementing interventions for children with Autism and language disorders. Applicants should be HCPC registered and have relevant experience, alongside strong communication skills in a school environment. Words First Ltd an independent multi‑disciplinary practice is at the forefront of providing integrated SEN services to schools in and around London. With a dedicated team including 90 Speech and Language Therapists, 25 Occupational Therapists, 4 Educational Psychologists, a Counsellor and a Play Therapist we actively work with 250 schools across various settings.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5-6 SaLT to join our innovative NHS collaboration in Central London. Working across a range of schools with EHCP students, you’ll be involved in delivering training, conducting 1:1 assessments and implementing interventions in pairs, groups and individually.
The role is a full‑time and on‑site role. You should have experience and a passion for supporting children with Autism and language delay/disorder.
You will receive training, mentorship and supervision from our highly experienced team of senior OTs and SaLTs. Your professional development will be personalised and aligned with the needs of the caseload and role.
