Overview

Come and join our friendly and hardworking team of housekeepers and catering assistants working in our mental health inpatient facilities at Southmead Hospital as a bank worker.

Responsibilities
  • Housekeepers support the nursing staff to provide an appropriate environment for patient care. Duties include general cleaning of all ward/departmental areas, and the preparation, presentation and service of patients meals and beverages.
  • GHSA (General Hotel Services Assistants) are expected to help out with all cleaning and catering related activities at ward level, where there may be constant distractions and contact with service users displaying disturbed and challenging behaviour on a frequent basis.
Working hours

Our hours for morning workers are from 07:30 to 13:30. Our hours for evening workers are from 16:00 to 19:00. There are no weekend shifts and there can be no variation to the hours advertised.
