Location:Manchester
Hours:Full-time, 40 hours per week (with overtime available)
Pay Rate:£14.50 per hour

We are urgently seeking anexperienced B2 Forklift Truck Driver to join our client’s busy offsite and modular construction facility in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to secure along-term, Temp-to-Perm rolewithin a growing industry.

About the Role

You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a modular production environment. Working closely with the yard and production teams, you will be responsible for the safe movement of portable cabins and construction materials, ensuring all tasks are carried out efficiently and in line with health & safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operating a B2 Forklift Truck to move, load and unload portable units including Tripple Stacking.

Transporting construction materials across the yard and workshop.

Assisting modular trades with production duties as required.

Carrying out routine checks and ensuring the forklift remains in good working condition.

Supporting the servicing, cleaning and preparation of modular units.

Maintaining a clean, safe and well‑organised work environment.

Minimising material wastage and supporting cost efficiency.

Adhering strictly to all site Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Assisting other yard staff when forklift operations are not required.

Skills & Experience Required

• B2 Forklift Truck licence – Essential
• Previous experience in an offsite, modular, construction or manufacturing environment (highly desirable).
• Ability to multitask and adapt to a variety of duties.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Reliable, safety‑conscious and able to work with minimal supervision.
