Job summary

A global software engineering firm in the UK is seeking an AWS Solutions Architect to lead the design and ideation of cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud architecture and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders in a pre-sales capacity. This role offers up to £150k per year with bonuses and the flexibility to work remotely within the UK. The candidate will also support client meetings and AWS-specific events as necessary.

• Extensive experience with cloud architecture, ideally the last 3 years in a leadership role.
• Ability to act as a technical, pre-sales partner.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders.

AWS Solutions Architect up to £150k (Bonuses) Hybrid, UK

My client are a modern and innovativeglobal software engineering firmthat delivers breakthrough data, analytics, and AI platforms to some of the largest organisations across the globe.

Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:

• Lead the ideation, scoping, and design of AWS-based solutions
• Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts using AWS services.
• Contribute hands‑on coding and technical implementation to accelerate solution development.
• Prepare and present technical documentation for AWS Foundational Technical Reviews (FTR).
• Support new sales opportunities and existing accounts by showcasing reusable solutions and technical accelerators.
• Act as an advisor, on a peer‑to‑peer level with CIOs, Head of Development, Enterprise Architects, Head of Transformation, and others.

Experience:

• Extensive experience with cloud architecture, and ideally the last 3 years in a leadership and senior stakeholder facing role
• Looking for a technical, pre‑sales partner to our Business Dev Lead – someone who can work in the sales engineering capacity in customer conversations

Salary:Maximum of£150k per yearOTB(On Target Bonus)

Location:The role requires the ability to visit clients in the UK (primarily London) and Ireland to support face‑to‑face meetings and AWS‑specific live events when needed. For the remainder of the time, you can work remotely within the UK.
