Job summary

A leading automotive parts supplier in the UK is seeking a Launch Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves managing and coordinating product launch activities while ensuring adherence to project management systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in automotive manufacturing, preferably within a Tier 1 supplier environment. Strong leadership and organizational skills are necessary for success in this fast-paced role.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience in automotive manufacturing, ideally a Tier 1 supplier.
• Proven experience of managing multiple projects from development to launch.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills as well as a strong sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross functional on time, on cost product launches.
• Demonstrate an understanding of JIT/Lean Manufacturing System.
• Maintain launch timing plans and update progress.
