Automotive Fleet Support Coordinator (Fixed Term 12 Months) – Heathrow Airport

We are looking for driven automotive, fleet, or workshop professionals to join our 24/7 airport operations team. This role will coordinate GSE fleet availability and support ground services around the clock.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Provide first‑line telephone support to customers regarding fleet availability and incidents
  • Coordinate breakdowns, defect reports, recoveries, and service status updates
  • Monitor and manage SLA recovery plans and customer communications
  • Investigate vehicle‑related aircraft delays and share findings with customers
  • Liaise with workshops, suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturers
  • Allocate jobs and raise service requests and purchase orders using SAP
  • Track fleet movements, repairs, and associated costs
  • Escalate safety issues, incidents, and operational risks appropriately
  • Maintain accurate records and promote a strong safety culture
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in automotive, fleet, workshop, logistics, or vehicle maintenance environments
  • Background in customer service, coordination, or call‑centre‑style support
  • Good understanding of vehicle maintenance and operational workflows
  • Comfortable using IT systems (SAP experience advantageous)
  • Strong organisation, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Proactive, calm under pressure, and customer‑focused
  • Able to work rotating day and night shifts

Hours & Shift Pattern

Rotating day & night shifts (4‑week cycle) – 4 on, 4 off. Examples: Day shift 05:30‑17:30 or 06:00‑18:00; Night shift 17:30‑05:30 or 18:00‑06:00.
