Job description

We have a new opportunity for an Automation Test Manager to join our Solutions Delivery team. You'll lead AXA's capabilities in testing intelligent automations by defining each project's test approach and test data requirements. You'll focus on ensuring the quality of automation design, testability of the solution delivery and adherence to AXA's governance for code delivery and deployment.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

Responsibilities
  • Delivery of intelligent automations, throughout the automation design, assisting in deployment and testing.
  • Identifying potential improvements through automation tools and articulating these ideas clearly.
  • Overseeing the design, testing and delivery of efficient solutions that are aligned to the business requirements, test plan and the company automation principles.
  • Ensuring that any change or solution meets regulatory guidance, and where any non‑compliance is observed, reporting this immediately to line / project manager.
  • Seeking out and providing regular feedback on test performance and delivery.
  • Driving the team to achieve planning commitments.
  • Leading continuous improvement of the wider automation community and acting in a mentoring capacity.
Qualifications
  • ISTQB Foundation Level (CTFL) or Advanced Certifications.
  • Proven automation test experience, building test approaches for automation projects, definition and maintenance of regression testing and integration of test programmes into a CI/CD pipeline.
  • Excellent knowledge of development lifecycles.
  • Ability to lead and work in a team, as well as being self‑sufficient.
  • Working knowledge of testing within agile practices and principles.
  • Ability to coordinate solutions to complex technical problems.
  • Familiarity with insurance and insurance‑led products would be beneficial.
  • UiPath Certified Professional Software Testing Engineer Professional Certification desirable.
