Job summary

A renowned paint and coatings manufacturer is seeking a Process Engineer to lead process design and improvements in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, at least 5 years of experience in a hazardous manufacturing setting, and strong knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation. This role involves supporting capital projects and ensuring process safety standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a hazardous manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of relevant country Health and Safety legislation.
• Understanding of ATEX and Management of Change.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert on process chemistry and design basis.
• Lead new product/formula introductions for new technologies.
• Identify and implement process improvement recommendations.
• Develop process designs and simulations for capital projects.
