Auto Electrician

Location: Dorking
Department: Assembly
Hours: 39 per week

  • Monday-Thursday: 7:30am-4:00pm
  • Friday: 7:30am-3:00pm
    (hour unpaid lunch)

Hourly Rate: £15.63-£16.32 (depending on skills and experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Assembly Fitter / Auto Electrician to join our Assembly Department. This is a hands‑on role working on specialist vehicles, including electrical installations and diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose electrical issues using electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Modify and install electrical harnesses and wiring looms.
  • Install interior electrics (GPS, camera systems, etc.).
  • Fit high‑voltage batteries into electric Vehicles.
  • Conduct fault‑finding and diagnostic work on specialist vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with safety standards.
  • Contribute to a clean, safe working environment.
