We are currently looking for an experienced Support Worker to work from Monday to Friday at a day service specialising in supporting service users with moderate to severe autism.

The service is based in NG5, Nottingham and you will be working alongside a friendly and experienced team to deliver the very best experience for the service user whilst also carefully promoting independence where appropriate.

Duties include:
  • Following personal care plans
  • Maintaining health and safety standards and complying with requirements of the home
  • General housekeeping and domestic duties
  • Helping service users remain as independent as possible and catering to their likes and dislikes
  • Assisting with daily living activities
  • Undertaking activities to keep the service users engaged and active

Requirements:
  • An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
  • Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling and Autism and Learning Disabilities training (Oliver Mcgowan)
  • A Referenceable work history
  • At least 3 months experience within a similar setting

This is a ongoing opportunity, with the potential for a permanent role.

Hours available Monday to Friday 10:00 to 15:00
