Job summary

A quality control auditing firm in Greater London is looking for an experienced auditor to conduct site audits for compliance with international standards. The role requires a higher education degree in a relevant field and at least 3-5 years of auditing experience, including knowledge of ethical and social compliance standards. Proficiency in English and French communication is essential. This is a part-time position without remote work options, offering an opportunity to contribute to quality control improvements.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of professional experience conducting audits focused on ethical/social compliance.
  • Recognized audit certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, SA8000, ISO 14001 are highly desirable.
  • Solid communication skills in both English and French.

Responsibilities

  • Audit manufacturing sites of clients' suppliers focusing on rights, health, safety, security.
  • Record findings in detailed reports delivered to clients.
  • Provide expertise in client meetings to create custom quality control procedures.

Job description
You will be expected to :
  • Audit the manufacturing sites of our clients suppliers sometimes without warning. Your areas of attention will include labor rights health and safety environmental security and others according to the applicable international standard or the clients in-house procedure
  • Be alert to any violations staying vigilant when dealing with factory management and recording all your findings in detailed reports to be delivered to the client
  • Approach your job with utmost integrity as your conduct during an audit can have lasting consequences for the supplier factory staff and our clients
We may also request you to :
  • Provide your expertise in client meetings to create custom quality control procedures based on their specific requirements
  • Contribute your ideas for improving the quality of our Operations projects

It could be you if you have :

Qualifications :
  • A higher education degree in Engineering Law Economics Social SciencesEnvironmental ScienceQuality Management or a related major.
  • APSCA certification (CSCA preferred)with 3 years of experience and master degree if possible.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience conducting audits with a focus on ethical / social compliance (e.g. SMETA BSCI SA8000) environmental audits (e.g. ISO 14001) and manufacturing audits.
  • Recognized audit certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor SA8000 ISO 14001 or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Solid communication skills in both English and French (written and verbal).
  • Familiarity with international audit procedures and reporting standards.
  • Strong organizational and reporting skills.
