Audit and Accounts Manager job role for a leading, top 20 north-west accountancy firm. What you'll do

As an audit and accounts manager, you will be responsible for taking an active role in all areas of an audit from planning through to completion. Your day-to-day duties include leading and managing audits, completing tricky and complex areas of fieldwork, and finalising concluding reports. You will be preparing/reviewing statutory and management accounts for a varying portfolio of clients as well as VAT and tax returns. Additionally, you will take the lead in coaching juniors and seniors, reviewing their audit and accounts work whilst providing valuable insights to clients. You will receive continuous support throughout your role, reporting to senior managers on your progress and audit work.
