Qualifications

Job description
Overview

We are seeking an experienced Band 7 Audiologist/Clinical Scientist to join our friendly and skilled team of healthcare scientists. Based in Windsor, you will also work across sites in East Berkshire, giving you the chance to develop your skills in a variety of settings. This is a rewarding and varied role where you will see complex adult and paediatric patients for assessment and rehabilitation, as well as providing audiology support to our ENT colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Enthusiastic, senior Healthcare Science practitioner who is a clinical scientist or AHCS registered with BSc/MSc in Audiology or in Medical Physics, Physiological Measurements and BAAT I and II with relevant, post-qualification clinical experience.
  • Qualified to deliver and experienced in performing vestibular assessments, paediatric assessment and rehabilitation, with duties including seeing adult patients.
  • Role suited to an STP trainee graduate or someone with HTS modules due to the complex and varied workload.
  • Communicate calmly, compassionately and effectively, reassuring service users so they feel valued, heard and understood.
  • Work across sites in Windsor and East Berkshire as required.
