Job description

Responsibilities & Context:

• Oversee the company's full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Petty Cash management.
• Supervise day-to-day financial operations such as posting, and reconciliation of accounts.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all business transactions (sales, purchases, expenses, payroll, etc.).
• Monitor and verify supporting documents for all financial transactions to maintain proper compliance and audit readiness.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Cash Flow Statement.
• Review and reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and client accounts on a regular basis.
• Ensure all statutory requirements are met regarding Vat
• Supervise and guide two junior staff members, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and timely delivery of assigned tasks.
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal control systems to safeguard company assets and prevent financial irregularities.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance reports for management decision-making.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and inspections.
• Manage accounts receivables by tracking client payments, issuing invoices, and following up on outstanding dues.
• Manage accounts payables by verifying vendor bills, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Keep proper filing and documentation of all accounts-related records for future reference and legal compliance.
• Monitor project-wise expenses, revenue recognition, and cost control measures in line with real estate development activities.
• Generate and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for financial improvement.
• Handle confidential financial information with integrity and maintain strict data security protocols.
• Continuously review accounting processes and suggest improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist top management with strategic planning, business expansion decisions, and investment analysis.
• Prepare all the reports to management related with salary.
• Other tasks given by management.
