Overview

My client, a market leading, innovative Environmental Consultancy based, is searching for an Associate Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to manage and grow a Water Team based in London. Hybrid working is available.

Requirements

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline and have achieved or are close to achieving Chartered status. You will also have vast experience working for a UK based Consultancy specialising in flood risk, hydrology, hydraulic modelling, flood alleviation, drainage or river engineering.

For this opportunity, applicants are also required to have the drive and determination to develop new business opportunities with the support of the team and have experience managing projects, promoting company services and mentoring team members.

Role overview

This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to lead and develop a new team based in London. You will be expected to manage projects, mentor and train team members and develop new business opportunities. You will be expected to check, complete and amend technical work spanning flood risk, drainage, hydraulic modelling, nutrient neutrality, flood alleviation and river restoration schemes across the UK.

You will required to manage projects, grow the team and complete, review and check technical work.
