About the job Associate Transport Planner

Duties

With support from the Transport Planning Associate Director, you will lead the expansion of the transport planning team, enhancing the office's existing services and also work alongside an experienced Senior Transport Planner.

Who You Are
  • You will bring with you, 12+ years of industry experience and the desire to establish, grow and manage your own transport planning team
  • Skilled in using GIS software packages such as Basemap TRACC, ArcGIS, MapInfo and QGIS
  • A good understanding of local and national transport policies as well as design standards
  • Membership in a professional institution such as and preferably chartered through CMILT or TPP
  • Familiarity with microsimulation modelling software
  • Proven experience in developing new business and maintaining key client relationships.
  • Experience as an expert witness at planning appeals, local plan examination hearings - advantageous
