Role overview

Nature Reviews Bioengineering – launching in January 2023 – is recruiting an Associate or Senior Editor with a background in bioelectronics and/or robotics. This position is an exciting opportunity to join the launching editorial team of Nature Reviews Bioengineering and to aid in the shaping of the journal. Nature Reviews Bioengineering will publish Reviews and Perspectives, covering a wide range of topics, including biomaterials, bioelectronics, robotics, bio(nano)technology, synthetic biology, biomedical engineering, medical devices, delivery systems and regenerative medicine. Nature Reviews Bioengineering will also publish Comments and other front-half articles, as well as editorial content, creating a discussion forum for the bioengineering community.

Experience and focus areas

We are particularly interested in applicants with a background in biosensing, bionics, robotics and/or technology transfer, but we would welcome applications from outstanding candidates in any area of bioengineering.

Position details

The position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, starting early 2022, and will be located in our London, Berlin or New York offices.
