Job summary

A global law firm is seeking an experienced Associate to join their Real Estate team. The ideal candidate will have a J.D. and must be admitted to the Florida Bar, along with at least 3 years of experience in real estate. Responsibilities include managing and negotiating contracts related to various property types. JOB DESCRIPTION

The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Proficiency in commercial real estate and financing transactions pertaining to mixed-use, office, multi-family, retail, hotel, resort, and other types of buildings.
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts pertaining to financial and real estate transactions, such as development-related agreements, property management agreements, easements, CC&Rs, licenses, leases, loan agreements, and buy and sale agreements.
  • Strong communication and writing abilities are necessary.
  • While not necessary, joint venture and real estate development experience is a plus.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
  • J.D. from a recognized legal education institution.
  • Admission to and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
  • 3+ years experience within real estate.
  • Shown capacity to oversee all aspects of a transaction on their own.
