A leading engineering consultancy in the UK is seeking an experienced Associate/Principal Engineer to deliver high-quality design and analysis for nuclear projects. The ideal candidate will possess Chartered Engineer status and have robust technical capabilities within the nuclear industry. Responsibilities include leading project engineering efforts, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. We are seeking a full‑time Chartered Engineer with a strong technical background to support delivery of structural engineering projects within the nuclear sector. This role is suited to an experienced engineer who wishes to remain primarily focused on technical excellence, complex problem‑solving and high‑quality design within a highly regulated environment.
The roleforecast involves hands‑on engineering design, analysis and technical assurance, working as part of multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compliant and robust engineering solutions. There is no requirement for formal line management, allowing the role holder to focus on technical delivery and expertise.
