About the role

Shape the Future of Fashion Education at the FRA! FRA offers unique, accelerated 2‑year degree programs that combine intensive fashion business education with hands‑on industry placements and mentoring. As we expand, we’re looking for an Associate Lecturer in Fashion Communication and Styling to inspire and guide our students. In this role, you’ll deliver engaging, high‑quality teaching that prepares students for thriving careers in the industry. Please note that we are always on the lookout for talented Lecturers to join the FRA and are continuing to grow as an organisation so this opportunity could lead to a permanent post.

About you
Qualifications
  • BA/BSc (Hons) in Fashion Communications or a related field.
Experience
  • Industry experience in Fashion Communications, Styling, Art Direction, and experience in teaching or training, preferably in higher education.
Expertise
  • Deep knowledge of fashion communications, styling, art direction and the fashion retail landscape.
Passion
  • Confident and engaging communicator with excellent presentation skills and genuine enthusiasm for teaching, mentoring, and inspiring others.

Salary

Hourly rate: £42.00 per teaching hour, inclusive of preparation and associated pedagogic work. Non‑teaching duties across provisions, including course development work, are paid at £23.85 per hour inclusive.
