Qualifications

The role
  • Actively participate in developing UK practice and promote the company to existing and prospective clients.
  • Conducting geotechnical site investigations including testing, data logging and technical reporting.
  • Delivery of high standard geotechnical designs.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across mixed use, commercial, urban, buildings and infrastructure projects
  • Planning and managing large scale projects. This will include coordinating the preparation of cost estimates, tender submissions, technical documentation, client reports and monitoring project progress, project scheduling/resourcing, and meeting deadlines and budgets.
What you need to succeed
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent, with a focus in Geotechnical Engineering
  • Minimum 8-10 years industry experience
  • Proven project management skills (achieving prescribed budget, timeframe and client requirements)
  • An understanding of the business/organisation/marketing context of business solutions.
  • Well-developed consulting skills
  • Ability to manage client relationships and expectations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a diverse and multi-disciplinary environment
  • Chartered Member of the ICE or the Geotechnical Society or equivalent
