The Cost Consultancy team is responsible for delivering cost advice on some of the UK's most strategically important projects. The Quantity Surveying team provides high-quality cost advice on both capital and whole-life costs of buildings, with an increasing focus on carbon reduction. With a focus on residential, Build to Rent, PBSA and similar, they want an Associate Director who can help them to win and deliver work in the West Midlands.
Due to continued success, they are seeking an Associate Director to lead and grow the commercial team in the West Midlands, based in the Birmingham office. Reporting directly to the Regional Director, you will become an integral part of a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team, utilising the latest technology to deliver cost advice to design colleagues and clients. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of large residential projects, managing the commercial team in the West Midlands, and supporting the operational side of the business. This role requires frequent delivery of technical excellence, promoting learning opportunities across the team, and supporting the professional development of others. You will oversee a group of Cost Managers working on existing residential projects, while also assisting with growth in the property sector. There is a strong opportunity to develop this position as a respected and trusted advisor, playing a key role in an important growth initiative within the Project & Cost Management business unit.
