Associate Artificial Intelligence, Technology Division – GenAI Chatbot Role

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Analyst/Associate will be joining the Artificial Intelligence team where you will report to one of our AI Researchers. They will be part of a specialized team advancing the firm’s next-generation GenAI chatbot models, an invaluable tool for clients to extract intelligence around their trades more efficiently, ensuring the best user experience possible. This group sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data engineering and trading technology, developing and deploying systems that leverage GenAI and large language model (LLM) architectures to improve market insight extraction. Working closely with data engineering and technologists, the team builds scalable platforms for model training, inference, and deployment, ensuring high performance and low latency in production trading environments.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop AI-based GenAI chatbot models: Design and implement large-language model driven chatbots that incorporate real-time market data and historical platform activity to allow clients to extract information around flows, pricing and past activity.
• Translate research into production: Collaborate with quantitative researchers to convert AI and ML models into robust, production-grade trading code with high performance and reliability.
• Build and maintain infrastructure: Develop scalable systems for model training, backtesting, and deployment; optimize data pipelines for large-scale, low-latency environments.
• Integrate data and signals: Handle and process large, complex datasets (structured and unstructured) using SQL and Python
• Ensure performance and reliability: Write efficient, maintainable, and testable code for live trading environments; monitor and refine deployed models for drift, latency, and performance consistency.
• Collaborate across disciplines: Work closely with AI researchers, quants, and traders to align modelling objectives with trading strategies and business goals.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor or Master degree in Maths, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or related STEM field at time of application.
• A strong understanding of Python, with an understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• A strong understanding of SQL to translate human questions into SQL database queries.
• A basic understanding of GenAI (Deep Learning and LLM) tools.
• A desire to learn and understand, you thrive when studying and mastering complex concepts.
• A keen problem solver, no problem is too big for you
• Ability to take ownership of his/her work, working both independently and within a small team, with the ability to lead and be a self-starter.
• A passion for technology and research.
• Strong communication skills in English both verbal and written
• Working and communicating with multiple product managers, stakeholders and data analysts across various asset classes.
