Role Overview

The AVP Finance Data Advisory & Governance acts as a strategic advisor to Finance leadership on finance data management, governance, and transformation. The role provides consultative guidance across insurance finance domains, shapes data strategy, and drives alignment with enterprise data and regulatory standards. This role influences outcomes through thought leadership rather than day-to-day operational execution.

Key Responsibilities

Advisory & Consulting Leadership

• Serve as a trusted advisor to Finance, Risk, and senior stakeholders on finance data strategy , governance, and operating models.
• Provide subject matter expertise on insurance finance data domains (GL, subledger, IFRS, Solvency II, management reporting).
• Advise on data implications of finance transformation initiatives, system migrations, and regulatory change.

Data Governance & Standards

• Define and evolve finance data governance frameworks , policies, and standards.
