Assistant Site Manager
£19 - £21/hour plus van

Clancy have exciting opportunities available on the SSEN ED2 framework, and as result we have live opportunities for experienced Assistant Site Managers, based out of Basingstoke but working across sites on in our SSE patch.

As an accomplished Supervisor/Assistant Site Manager who thrives on change and embraces challenges including Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, Fleet, Operational Delivery, and Customer Experience, your primary focus will be on managing people and performance, and we anticipate that you'll be eager to identify areas for improvement in work practices and service performance once you've settled into the role.

Here is a snapshot of some of the activities you will be involved with

  • Inspiring and leading operational teams to prioritize safety in all activities.
  • Ensuring that teams receive adequate training to meet competency and compliance standards.
  • Promoting a culture of "right first time" to reduce customer complaints.
  • Proactively managing future works and programs to minimize disruptions and preventable mistakes.
  • Reviewing and approving contractor method statements and risk assessments.
  • Conducting regular safety audits to identify hazards and implement necessary controls.
  • Managing vehicles and drivers to adhere to driving standards policies and the highway code.

We are interested in hearing from candidates who can demonstrate

  • Exceptional people management and delivery skills coupled with excellent communication abilities along with diplomacy, and the ability to make independent decisions, as you will often need to balance client expectations with contractual requirements and business priorities.
  • Desirable qualifications include NRSWA, SMSTS/SSSTS, and CDM training.
