Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a team leader, supervisor or assistant manager role (essential).

Responsibilities

  • Deputise for the Service Manager when required.
  • Lead and support a team of regional service staff and technicians.
  • Manage operational activities including estimating, invoicing and planning.
  • Provide technical support to internal staff and engineers.
  • Support customer relationships, service delivery and new business opportunities.
  • Mentor and develop staff including performance management and reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies and procedures.

Job Type: Permanent / Full Time

Location: Leighton Buzzard

Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week 8.30am to 5.00pm

As Assistant Service Manager you’ll play a key role in supporting the Service Manager and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations. You’ll oversee a team of engineers and service staff helping to deliver high‑quality service across a wide customer base. From managing technician activities and budgets to supporting customer relationships and operational processes, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring service excellence.
