Job summary

This role will include 1 in 5 Saturday working as part of a rota. Bank Holiday and on‑call working as part of a rota. Posts will be based at the Wythenshawe Campus with a future expectation to work cross site.

Responsibilities

Qualifications and experience

Essential Qualifications:

  • 2 GCSEs or equivalent (grade C or above) in Mathematics and English.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • GCSEs or equivalent including Science.
  • NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent nationally recognised qualification.

Essential Experience:

  • Ability to follow procedures.
  • Evidence of working as part of a team.
  • Ability to participate in training programmes and successfully achieve the required training.
  • Experience working in a busy environment.
  • Commitment to CPD, further education and career development.

Desirable Experience:

  • Hospital Pharmacy / Aseptic experience.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to communication difficulties and difficult situations.
