Overview

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and highly organised psychology graduate with some relevant experience working with young people and families, as well as high level written and verbal communication skills. The post-holder will be keen to use supervision and training to develop assessment and clinical skills.

Role and Responsibilities

• Work in an experienced multi-disciplinary team and be able to work well in different systems.
• Contribute to group therapies and use visual tools and statistical packages to analyse and present the performance data of the service.
• Form links with other Assistant Psychologists in the service and undertake CPD activities related to career progression.
• Support the clinical team by contributing to case discussion and formulation, collecting and analysing outcome measure data, and assisting with the development and delivery of group interventions.
• Under supervision by a qualified clinical psychologist, offer some 1:1 interventions and assist with some initial assessments.

Role Activities

The post will involve multi-disciplinary assessment, formulation, and intervention for young people with a variety of mental health/behavioural difficulties. The post-holder will also be required to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions provided and undertake Quality Improvement initiatives and audits.
