A healthcare provider is seeking an Assistant Psychologist to support the mental health team at a male prison in Leyland. The role involves psychological assessment, facilitating therapeutic groups, and providing patient care. Candidates should have a Psychology degree and experience in similar roles. We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Psychologist to join the team at HMP Wymott, a Category C male prison located in Leyland. HMP Wymott has capacity of around 1,100 and a varied and complex population. You will be a key part of the mental health team, supporting in the management of conditions such as PTSD, Depression, Anxiety and Trauma, working alongside 2 other Assistant Psychologists, a Clinical Psychologist and a Forensic Psychologist, as well as the wider team.

Hours: This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00.
Salary: This position is full time, £28,247 - £32,346 per annum, depending on experience.
