Ready to help shape the UK’s water future?
We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Assistant Project Manager, minimum 2 years of major infrastructure experience, to support one of the largest and most complex infrastructure programmes the UK water sector has seen in decades.
If you’re passionate about delivering major, complex projects in the water or infrastructure sector, thrive on challenge and change, and are ready to take accountability for shaping critical national infrastructure, this is your chance to make a lasting impact.
The Reservoirs Programme focuses on two new, large-scale raw water reservoirs — the Fens Reservoir and the Lincs Reservoir — along with all the associated infrastructure. Serving the East of England and East Midlands, this is the largest and most complex programme of work ever undertaken by Anglian Water — securing sustainable water supplies for to come.
This nationally significant programme involves securing planning approval for each scheme via the Development Consent Order (DCO) process, as well as developing the procurement and delivery strategy for future licenced Infrastructure Providers (IPs), who will ultimately design, build, finance, and operate the reservoir systems.
As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll work with the Project Manager across all stages of the project lifecycle, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery against schedule and budget. You'll also manage key work packages yourself (up to ~£5m), gaining hands-on experience and visibility on a truly career-defining programme.
If you’re ready to accelerate your career while making a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
