About The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Programme and Service Manager to join our dynamic Screening Department. You will play a key role in the planning, performance management, and delivery of a range of complex screening and immunisation programmes across NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde and Argyll & Bute.

You will support the Child Health & Screening Service Delivery & Programme Manager, taking a lead operational role in national system development, local implementation, and strategic planning. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to public health, working closely with a wide range of stakeholders and managing multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment.

This role involves providing assistance to the overall Programme Manager in relation to managing staff and system performance and compliance with all of the national and local pre-school and school immunisation workflows as well as all adult and childhood screening programmes. The role will require linking with other local and national stakeholders to drive forward process and change in relation to the programmes that are delivered by the team. This remit covers all of the NHS GG C population and elements of Argyll & Bute via SLA arrangements.
