The Role

This is a client-facing role responsible for handling article production workflows and acting as a key liaison between FT Studio editors, freelance writers, sub-editors, internal stakeholders, and external clients. The role combines editorial production, administrative coordination, and project management, and will involve working across a wide variety of content formats and marketing assets. You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy balancing editorial rigour with client collaboration and process optimisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle the production of data-driven, thought leadership articles
  • Act as liaison between client services, strategists, editors, writers, sub-editors, and clients
  • Use FT’s internal CMS to approve and publish content
  • Join client calls and ensure effective communication across project lifecycles
  • Conduct desk research and coordinate external contributor outreach
  • Maintain a database of third-party contributors and lead all aspects of contributor communications
  • Brief and collaborate with freelance writers and sub-editors, supervising availability and workflow capacity
  • Source and select hero imagery for articles
  • Own project timelines (using Monday.com), handle budgets and track expenses
  • Handle document admin including term sheets and POs
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings and calls
Required Skills and Experience
  • A degree in any subject (journalism, communications, English, humanities or business are ideal) or equivalent experience
  • Solid experience or interest in business/finance content production for decision-maker or high net worth (HNW) audiences
  • Strong project management, communication and administrative skills
  • Copywriting experience
  • Comfortable working across multiple teams and time zones
  • Proactive and enthusiastic approach to identifying and resolving issues
  • Consultative approach to client support
  • Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to juggle opposing priorities effectively
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and project management tools such as Monday.com
  • Exposure to finance, technology, energy or sustainability content topics
  • Experience collaborating with freelance contributors
